Cool Clubs | First Take

If you’re looking for something to bring extra stability and speed to your swing, this driver shaft is perfect for you! Golfers of all skills will see improvement with tighter dispersion creating lower spin combined with faster ball speeds when testing this new Ventus shaft.

Since introducing its first golf shafts in 1995, Fujikura has been a Japanese powerhouse in providing leading edge technology for golfers of all skills. We just received another the latest Fujikura Tour-driven shaft designed to increase ball speed. After all, who doesn’t want more speed? More importantly, these shafts help you keep your golf ball in play, too.

Shaft Performance Characteristics

The exceptionally engineered Ventus product line was created to significantly tighten shot dispersion and maximize ball speed, especially on off-center shots. Ventus features a Tour-inspired profile and is the first to include Fujikura’s all-new VeloCore Technology with an accelerated taper and ultra-stiff tip profile. Maximum energy transfer from the tip section boosts the clubhead’s performance, and the straight taper design enhances loading and feel.

Premium Materials & Technologies

The VeloCore (“Velocity at its Core“) was introduced to assure players that a shaft isn’t an “either/or” predicament for golfers. That is, do you have give up speed to ensure greater accuracy? The Ventus will deliver both velocity and forgiveness. The new shaft was created with multi-material construction of Full-Length Pitch 70 Ton Carbon Fiber which is 150% stiffer than T1100g and provides more stability throughout the full length of the shaft, along with 40 Ton Carbon Fiber. The tip of the shaft holds an ultra-stiff profile that reduces twisting from transition through impact and provides a stable, continuous progression from handle to tip throughout the midsection. The butt-end of the shaft helps maximize the energy transferred at impact and creates a smoother, enhanced feel.
